This is Catherine (Katy) Wragg, made this afternoon, and starting work on Saturday at the museum from where she will be sent out to schools with other traditional toys.
Goodness, isn't she a plain girl! And awkward as all get out - in the making she caused threads to snap, seams to fray, bobbins to run out and wool to knot!

She is working in History Detectives as the younger girl Edith's favourite toy which the children have to find in the cottage using the Victorian Leisure clue. It makes more sense when you are doing it than it does here.
